I have to get a new laptop for my studies (but also for private use), but unfortunately I don't really know what is good and what is not.
I would need one with a lot of storage space, doesn't have to be too big and can but doesn't have to be touch.
In terms of price, I would rather look for cheap ones for max. ~ 450 euro
maybe someone has made experiences with good and cheap ones or knows something about it?
If you need the laptop for surfing, Excel etc, you can use almost all of them for the amount. Medion Dell etc are brands there.

For more demanding things like playing games or image editing etc. You have to take a closer look

Take an ultrabook, light and long battery life are probably the most important things for you.
We already have to know what "relatively much memory" should mean? Data storage (hard disk) or main memory (RAM)?
And while studying, I think you should pay attention to the battery life.
