How do I completely remove my laptop screen?

My laptop screen is completely over and I'm afraid that it will start to burn because it has got a black spot in the middle and it gets very hot, so I would detach the screen from the laptop if possible. Could you maybe recommend me a video or a page where I could do it according to the instructions?
