I was invited from the school to a scholarship application from Schloss Salem (definitely 2 people will get a partial scholarship from our school). Since the competition at our school is relatively weak (and I somehow calculate chances, but one should not jump to conclusions too quickly), I would like to know how it is there at all:
1 Do you wear uniform school clothes there?
2 What about cell phones, laptops and tablets?
3 I once googled the rooms and found one that looks like a double-decker double bed, is that the case there?
4 What is the food like?
5 What is the leisure program like?
6 Do you have your own desk, wardrobe, etc?
7 How often can you drive home?
You don't have to answer all questions, but please as much as possible. I thank you in advance.
Salem has a phone, mailbox and internet. Get in there if you are interested! What speaks against clarifying a few questions before you apply?
So far I have had contact with about 10 students from Schloss Salem, independently of one another, and even if it does not concern your questions, they all had one thing in common: without exception, they were arrogant, arrogant, rich idiots who were anything but a healthy, realistic self-image had.
I would really think very, very well if I really want to go into this environment.
More expensive is not necessarily better, and some things are not worth it even when roofed.
1. You only wear school clothes when teaching
2. You shouldn't use it that often
3. I think you share a room with three or four people
4. Very good
5. You can do various AGs or other leisure activities.
6. Yes😊
7. I don't know weiß
You can have a look at the Schloss Salem documentation on Youtube
I'm not at Salem Castle but a friend of mine so I'm not that familiar with it
Oh God!
Bunk beds, alcohol controls, wake-up calls.
No own room.
Who would please send your child to THIS hole?
And then there's the English teacher with his German disaster accent - who should please learn real English?
But homework help is great.
And many thanks for the names of the children - data protection is very important here. Felizitas von Anhalt is certainly pleased that every kidnapper in Europe now knows where to go to school. Where is security on Salem?
And does everyone have access to the buildings?
There are no more problems with urine samples and
beds that are too short.

So, somehow, none of this really convinces me!
Dear Emma,
We're very pleased that you are interested in a partial scholarship to the Schloss Salem school.
Yes, there's school clothing for grades 5 to 10 (white polo shirt, dark blue sweater, own trousers / skirt) that the students wear during the lesson. In the afternoon you can wear your own clothes. In the upper level it is regulated differently.
There are restrictions on the use of mobile phones, but the students do not see this as a disadvantage, as they then have more time for the activities and their friendships.
From grade 8 onwards, the pupils are mostly accommodated in double or triple rooms. In the upper level there are double rooms. Most beds are single beds, but we also have bunk beds.
Our leisure program is very extensive, you can read more about it here:
