How do I rebuild my formatted laptop?

I got a used laptop a month ago with Win7 and some old data from the previous owner. Instead of scouring everything with the risk of deleting any files I wanted to rebuild it.

Bzw I first installed parallel Linux Ubuntu on a new partition and formatted from there the Windows partitions and deleted and then deleted the remaining partitions (thus also fast-formatted).

So, everything deleted, it should be possible to install from the boot DVD WindowsXP → wrong thought. Same with Windows7 and Linux Ubuntu.

Now the real question:

Is it still possible to install an operating system on this laptop? If so, how?

What exactly does not work now?
Does not the installation of USB or CD work?
Or do you wonder that he does not start because you have flattened all partitions?

And yes, the possibility exists to install a Windows or Linux from USB or DVD.

You have to install Windows and then Linux.

Boot a Linux distribution (for example, GParted) from a DVD or a USB flash drive that has the disk image on it, then delete any existing partitions.
Restart the notebook, open the BIOS and look under Security, Boot or Authentication to see if "Secure Boot" is disabled or not. If yes, disable, save setting and close the BIOS.
Boats from a Windows 7 DVD or a USB stick containing a Windows 7 disk image. Select "Install Windows", click on it, format and partition the hard disk as soon as it appears in the dialog.

If there are still problems, you can report here again. Then keep looking, we'll get your tugboat running again.
