USB stick infected with virus?

I successfully formatted my SSD today!

But before I formatted the ssd I downloaded the kaspersky resuce disk to my USB stick and opened it.

This antivirus tool also found no virus on my PC.

After that, when I closed the software and tried to boot my windows, an error came up all the time and I couldn't fix it.

Then I went to another laptop, put the USB stick that was in my PC before (which probably had a virus) and directly formatted the entire USB without opening an app.

I wanted to ask now if I have to worry whether the virus is on the laptop or not.

I only used the laptop to drag the Media Creaton Tool onto my newly purchased USB stick, but before that it was inside my PC, but I only wrote the installed bios file on the stick via rufus.

Should I worry if there was a virus on it (every scan said it wasn't a malicious file?)

What do you think? The laptop is still running normally and a subsequent system scan checked the entire system and found no malicious files.

As I said, I formatted the USB and when I connected it to the laptop nothing opened.

For the rescue disk and the bootable win-stick you have formatted the stick at least twice, so no, normally no virus…

Okey thanks! I was just scared but she's probably gone now.

And when I inserted the stick into my laptop, none of it was transferred, right? Every scan said that no harmful file was found!

I don't know what was on the stick before…

You never have 100% security…

There was nothing on it, it was bought completely new

Then it should be OK…

Ok, thanks you get a star tomorrow
