I'm looking for a laptop under 800 euro, with which I can gamble for the next few years. I also want to use it for college, so it should be fast and have a good battery life.
I'm aware that I do not get a high-end device for the money, so I do not even look for it. However, I would wish that current / upcoming games are running in good resolution.
I would be very happy about your help, because I have only lay knowledge in the field.
And now WE should work for YOU, where you have not even looked somewhere?
We do not even have exact requirements!
If you want to gamble with a laptop, at least one GeForce GTX 1050 should be installed. Furthermore, at least 8 GB of RAM and, at best, even an SSD, as this provides in comparison to a HDD again for a noticeable speed boost.
Here would be a 15.6-inch device from HP for 700 euro: https://www.alternate.de/HP/Gaming-Pavilion-15-dk0204ng-Notebook/html/product/1556309
Installed are an Intel Core i5-9300H, a GeForce GTX 1050 (3 GB), 8 GB RAM and a large 512 GB SSD.
As you said, such a device is not suitable for high-end gaming, but quite neat in terms of features. I did not find any information about the battery life.
Of course not. However, most of this probably has much more idea than me and is deeper in the matter. What I'm looking for 5 hours, others can probably answer me from the head in 2 minutes.
So far I have been considering the Acer Aspire 5, the Acer Nitro 5, the Asus TUF FX505 (currently available at Saturn for 670 euro instead of 850 euro) and the HP Pavilion 15.
Thanks a lot! The device I've already caught in the eye or heard good about it several times.
