I bought a gaming laptop for 800 euro. The Acer nitro 5! And only have 60 fps in fortnite and I'm totally sad that I spent too much money. Or do you only have that much fps with a 800 euro PC?

With such a budget one would have preferred to take a PC, much more relaxed and less heat. And upgradeable at any time when it comes to cpu etc xD In general, laptops are always overpriced, then you wonder why it is bad for such a price. I don't know
With a 800 euro PC you would have more. You shouldn't buy a laptop for gaming.
Maybe I'm alone there but gaming and laptop basically don't go together for me there's always some catch and for the price I would have probably taken a PC. But maybe you can still send it back.
Do you have V-Sync on? This will keep the frame rate at the hertz rate of your screen, which in this case appears to be 60.

I understand and I find it really frustrating for you. If possible you can send it back and request nh credit and then use the money to get trz nh high end gaming pc. Or just sell the laptop yourself for a bit cheaper and then use the money to get a new pc.

Usually in the game. But it can also be on in the Nvidia control panel. And look under Windows whether your hertz rate is also set to 144Hz or is still 60.
