I recently bought a new gaming laptop that is running Windows 10. I want to play Minecraft with mods on it, unfortunately the launcher has changed and I absolutely do not know how it works by opening the file path for the mods. On YouTube and in general on the net I find absolutely nothing about it. I tried it via the Twisch app and it works fine, but I don't want to go online every time because I play in single player anyway.
To get into the Mods folder, enter% appdata% in the search bar at the bottom left. Then on the folder .minecraft Scroll down a little. If forge (if available) has not created a mods folder, just create one. In this you can then drag in downloaded mods and start with forge in the launcher. The order must be called mods.
I did it exactly the same way, but I wasn't shown it.
Do you have forge Usually, forge automatically makes a mods folder for you. You can't play without launcher without forge
Otherwise you have to create your own mods folder in the .minecraft order
Yes, I installed the necessary forge. I use 1. 12.2
Then it's best to delete everything again. Otherwise wouldn't know why you don't see any folders
Ok thanks i will do.
