Maybe someone can help me. So I play Sims on my laptop, never had any problems with anything because of mods and CC, everything works fine, but my friend now lives with me and his own PC here, which I can use at any time. He got Sims on the PC especially because of me, but now I only have one problem because I really have a lot of mods and CC and don't want to download everything again, we thought we'd copy everything to a USB stick and from there into his mods But the folder of the game itself is shown to me that something is missing or damaged, we have already tried it with other USB sticks and bought a new one and still the same problem… I also installed 2 random mods for testing and they work. We have already tried to add my things to his WinRar archive, unfortunately without success.
Now to my question, is it possible to transfer the mods and CC things from my laptop to my PC in some other way without the "damaged"?
I would have said now that you can do that with a stick, but if that doesn't work… Maybe there are more recent versions of the mods? Or try it out to see if something works with a USB cable. Or you can email him the files to his PC. If nothing works, you'll have to download the stuff again, even if that's stupid.
