Reinstall old Sims 3 mods?

I have recently reinstalled my sims 3 with my expansion pack on my new laptop and have previously stored all data about the game (downloads, mods, etc.) on a stick. I also tried to replace the folders to get my old scores again. Unfortunately that did not work and now I would like to at least install my mods again. Unfortunately, the page where you could download the mods now deleted and I find somehow no other. But I still have the mods on the stick. Theoretically, it would have to be possible to insert this from the stick into the game again. Unfortunately, I find no mods folder and do not know exactly how to insert it. Generally, the Sims folder looks very different from the previous one.

PS: My new laptop is Windwos 10 and the old one was Windows 7 (no idea if that makes a difference)

Is there a way to get the mods back in the game or is not possible with the new laptop?

Moin, you should be able to insert the mods again. If the mods are for Sims3 and you also have the game Sims3, that should work. You said that there's no mod folder, in most games you have to create a folder named "mods" in the Sims3 folder. It may be natural that the mods are outdated and then they do not work

The mods have to be packed in the S3 folder, which can be found under Documents> EA> Sims3. I even play actively

The EA folder is not there for me because of Windows 10

Pe

Naturally. It is also created under W10, at least for me. If not, you have an installation error.

Oh yes, I found him. Sorry
