I recently sold my gaming PC because I moved and now I live in a small room. A gaming PC takes up too much space here.
Now I want to buy a gaming laptop. Best of the Razer brand, because my entire setup was already from Razer and I really like this brand. (I know it's a little overpriced, but I also pay for quality).
Now I've looked at the laptops on the Razer website and wondered which one to choose…
It should just be good for gaming (I play Fifa, Fortnite, Red Dead Redemption. Later, of course, also GTA 6 etc.) and should have 17 inches. 15 is also possible. 500GB storage is also very important to me. The laptop should definitely cost less than 2500 euro. The games should be very fluid.
Now my question:
1. Which Razer laptop do you recommend and if not Razer which one else?
2. Can I increase the storage space on the Razer laptop? And if so how?
This would be from Razer: https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de
And here from all manufacturers: https://geizhals.de/...ml?hloc=de
The advantage would be that with the Msi Notebook 32 instead of 16GB Ram, a stronger GPU, a 4K display and more memory.
I would recommend the new Razer Blade Pro 17. It has 4k touch, 120 Hz, an RTX 2080 and a TB storage space. It's not cheap with its 4000 euro, but it's worth it.
But I wrote it must be under 2500
Thanks 👍👍
But why is the Razer laptop so expensive? Because of brand or why?
Razer is simply expensive, which is unfortunately the case.
Would you recommend the laptop? 2000 euro is really a lot and a PC for 2000 euro is much better. And do you think you can play games like Red Dead Redemption or. Play Gta 6 flawlessly?
Jo Razer is very popular and then you pay for the brand. (and vlt for the optics.)
Haha yes. Quality has its price, but I also have to say that Razer is very expensive…
Are not such price / performance cracks as the other manufacturers (partially)
And to your question. How much power GTA 6 will eat, of course, can't be said today, but in itself the laptop is really powerful, so you should at least be able to play it. If not in 4k or equivalent
I would personally put together a small pc because you are really better off with it. It's not just about the performance, but something like volume, temperatures, durability and options for upgrading are just a lot better with Pc's. And with Mini ITX cases you get really cool setups that take up little space.
Ok thanks and which Razer could you recommend to me?
So I can definitely recommend Razer as a brand, but you've already found out anyway.
I have the Razer Blade 15 (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07QT5HL8R/
and I'm absolutely satisfied with it. The size as well as the design is really great.
Unfortunately, you can't expand the storage space (particularly well), so I got the laptop with a 500 GB SSD so I have enough space for my games.
By the way, I would recommend buying directly from Amazon because theoretically it is much easier to send the product back.
Thank you for the good answer.
And because of the memory: 500 GB is really not much for me, since GTA 6 alone will need 100> GB… Can you just uninstall other games? Does it work?
Exactly, of course, the brand has a certain value and that is reflected in the price. But you don't have any problems with that, had a cheaper part before, that was mega loud and didn't look so stylish around the world
With pleasure.
Yes, you can uninstall all games directly from Steam. But you should still get along with 500 GB quite well, because not everyone needs so much storage space
Thank you very much!
Which Razer Blade do you have?
So which GraKa etc?
Did you link my Razer in the question above… So I bought exactly that
Ahh ok 👌 And which games do you play like that?
GTA V, Transport Fever 2, … So I had no problems with the performance
