Is the Razer core X compatible with my laptop?

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15API.

On the side I have a connection that looks like Usb c and is marked with SS and then this Usb symbol. Now I wonder whether this is a Thunderbolt 3 port or a Usb c port? And if my laptop doesn't have a Thunderbolt 3 port, can I somehow connect it differently?

No this is not a thunderbolt, it is just a normal USB data transfer port. Thunderbolt is marked with a small lightning bolt
