Is that even possible? If so, is it worth buying the laptop for 900 euro with Windows 10 preinstalled?

There's no 3050

No, the 3050 will probably get 4gb vram and have around 1500 shading units. I wouldn't get that again in 2021/2022.

No!

These are great laptops, but not for gaming.

It's fine for simple, low-resolution games. When you're out and about or at school.

The only thing that bothers me about this advance notice is that the RTX 3050 will only be available again with a very tight 4GB RAM (albeit GDDR6) despite 2048 Cuda cores.

However, the TGB assumptions and performance prospects make the RTX 3050 appear to be quite interesting for use in notebooks (according to currently known specifications) as a replacement for the GTX 1650 (Ti) to GTX 1660 Max q as a medium with overall improved performance efficiency.

The smaller TDP variants below 50 watts in particular sound very good for notebooks. With this map you will probably be able to forget about ray tracing to a large extent. (similar to the RTX 2060)

Up to 1080p if there's a willingness to compromise in the detail settings and AA / AF modes, an RTX 3050 may well be an interesting idea for notebooks.

Even nowadays, more (modern) streaming processors usually work with a reduced clock rate, sometimes considerably more efficiently than significantly less SP with significantly higher clock rates.

It just bothers me a little that the RTX 3050 (apparently) should actually only get 4 GB of VRAM. 🤔

You could buy a really good PC for 900. Laptops are too expencive for gaming.
