I have a gaming pc. A laptop. Two televisions. A sky tv box (uses a lot of Wi-Fi because of 4k films). An android tv box (uses a lot of Wi-Fi but only in 1080p). We currently have a 50k line. And yes it is poor for me, because the connection is bad in the evening because then my sister watches 1080p films and my parents on 4k, then he only downloads uptades with 1.5mb and in each game I have 60 to 300ping. Then we all have cell phones and the Wi-Fi is always on. Which line should we have so that the internet gets much better in the evening?
K?
What matters to you and what your parents want to pay. I think that you can never have enough bandwidth… In this case, more is always better.
200-250
Same relationships:
We had 100k line, was not enough.
We now have 250k line, more than enough.
But the router is just as important.
1000k is useless with a 10 euro router. Lan is still 1000 but then only 1mbit Wi-Fi arrive.
Our router creates 600k. If I'm not mistaken
The question is whether 400k will arrive at our house. ^^
K?
The question is what arrives at all. Maybe it's not like 50k anymore: /
But it's definitely over 250k but I don't know more.
Yes, I don't mean that now.
If zbs makes a contract with Telekom there are two options as far as I know:
1. 30 euro router (scrap) also creates 1000 per sheet
2. 5 euro a month (good) also creates more than 1000, but not only on the sheet
Oh okay
So if you order the router, it should be the more expensive one.
If you buy a router, it should be very good.
Fritzbox is very good, for example, but it also costs
You can easily find out. You go to the homepage of your provider (e.g. Telekom, Vodafone, Pyur etc.), enter your home address and they will tell you what is possible with you. But you should pay attention to who owns the line in the street. For me it is Pyur… Only there I get the maximum.
So we have the standard telekom router for 130 euro.
Thank you.
Say the name.
I only speak from experience and a little research. If an expert comes, he will be happy to improve me if I say something wrong.
If you mean Smart 3, that's enough. So not the best, but good enough.
I do not know but I have just checked the availability with us can arrive up to 1000k. ● _ ● I wouldn't have thought that much.
Haha
Yes, of course the more the better, but it's not worth the price.
You can change from little to more at any time anyway, but not the other way around.
Exactly. I guess I tell my parents to slowly get a 400k line.
400K cables often don't give more than 250 in my experience. And are very expensive. 250K lines are sufficient for many 4K streams and games, far enough. And depending on the provider, the upload is usually 50 up or more.
Checked for availability in our household. We can get up to 1000k. I think we'll get a 400k line.
How many people are you exactly?
Does your PC get its Internet over WLAN or over LAN?
4th
Wireless Internet access.
It depends on what type of cable is in the ground.
I have e.g. A 300k line and 350k arrives. (Fiber ftth)
The main problem with your PC is that you connect it via Wi-Fi. Wired LAN would solve some problems. If you absolutely want a speed upgrade, 100 Mbit / s should be enough, everything about it is a waste of money.
I don't know now whether you have a contract with us, but if so, I would recommend a 250 Mbit / s line.
In principle, a 100 MBit / s line should probably be sufficient for you, but the price difference for the two lines is not too big and we often have offers for higher lines.
However, I would also recommend connecting all devices with a LAN connection via LAN if possible. With WLAN, especially when many devices are communicating with each other, much of the bandwidth is lost. And afterwards you shouldn't be disappointed with the higher management, but you should also get some of it.
