Outlook - synchro problems with subscribed folders?

I have the following problem with Outlook 365 and the retrieval via IMAP:

I use two devices (desktop PC + laptop).

My mail account is set up on both and usually everything is synchronized. Lately I've only been working on the laptop and have had my PC on for the first time in several months.

Here I have the case that some mail folders that were created on the laptop do not appear on the PC. This is despite the fact that they appear in the overview when the subscribed folders are queried on the PC.

If I cancel a single subscribed order on the PC as a test, it will be removed from the folder structure of the laptop, but not from the folder on the PC, which I can't understand.

Conclusion: Everything on the laptop is up to date and that is exactly what I would like to have on the PC again.

Does anyone know the problem, or has a tip?

See if there's an offline mode activated on the laptop.

Pro tip: use a reasonable mail client.

Thunderbird can also handle Outlook365 accounts via IMAP4 and POP3.
