I reset my laptop to factory settings some time ago. I have not created a back-up because I'm not aware that I have to enter the activation code on Windows 8 every time I reset. Since my laptop does not have a sticker with the code and I do not have a CD with Windows, I do not know how to proceed now. Windows 8 was already installed before, when I bought the laptop.
When I start the laptop, I get some choices about how to rebuild Windows. Also the possibility to continue with another operating system or a simple troubleshooting. Last chance to continue the option with Windows 8, but here the laptop goes out after a few minutes and nothing else happens.
