I want to give my Medion laptop a better processor and more RAM

Is this useful for a laptop?

Processor: Intel Core i5 6 Geneation

RAM: 6 x DDR4

RAM is often possible, but the processor is not.

And yes, 8GB of RAM or more - depending on the application - makes sense

CPU: No, that will not work.

RAM: mostly.

But only makes sense when playing when a reasonable graphics is available or when using the much RAM need such. Video editing.
