I inherited a laptop but unfortunately without passwords.

How can I flatten?

If it has Windows 10 then try to reset the pw. If it doesn't work, simply reset the device.

You sometimes say "make it flat" when you mean how to reset / format it.

Reset to default
Download the ISO, play it on the stick and reinstall the operating system
Use the trick with utilman.exe
