Can magnets break my computer?

So I just picked up my laptop tablet (fixed keyboard, like a small laptop but with a touchscreen, so you can use it as a tablet) and a ballpoint pen "stuck" to the bottom. It was like a kind of magnet on both sides. Can it damage my laptop or isn't that so bad? And what exactly is magnetic there?

Aw

Actually only magnetic strips get broken. And hard drives, but you'll probably already have an SSD. So probably nothing happens there.

With computers without HDD, i.e. With SSD, nothing can actually happen

Normal computers are also pretty robust

You need a bigger magnet to cause damage. So you don't need to worry 😋

Co

Dan can't break even the largest magnet unless it is bent.

Co

This can definitely cause scratches in the housing

No

As long as no HDD is installed, nothing should have broken, if an HDD were installed, a few files could be broken, but nothing more

As long as you don't mess with the circuit boards, then yes 😋😜
