Show Msi Afterburner, Infinity fps?

I was wondering what my laptop could achieve for fps in games, but because my panel only supports 144 hz, then there's always only 144 fps, can you somehow switch it off?

FPS ≠ MHz

You have to do that in the game, has nothing to do with afterburner.
