For some time now my printer (HP LaserJet Pro 200 coloer MFP 276) only recognizes PDF files. I try, e.g. To print a Word file, I get the error message that the printer could not print the file. If I try the expression via USB stick directly at the printer, I will only see PDF files on the printer's display. So it can't really hang together with the laptop… Does anyone have an idea or solution?
The fact that the printer itself only reads PDF's, probably has a different context than that of a computer can't be printed.
I suppose the communication between the computer / laptop and the printer is not working properly.
Normally you should be able to check this and then - in the worst case - have to reinstall the printer.
Thank you for the fast answer. I'm re-installing the printer. This does not solve the problem with the USB stick. And whether it is due to the connection between computer and printer, I do not think PDFs I can print from the computer without problems…
