I have a laptop and I would like to extend the RAM from 8 to 16 GB. Until now 1x DDR4 with clocking PC4 17000 (2133 MHz) is installed.
Since it is cheaper to buy DDR4 PC4-19200 (2400 MT / s), I wanted to ask if it can cause problems or with what consequences I would expect.
Thanks in advance for the answer.
My laptop:
The Ram should fit, but only clocks at 2133 MHz.
The RAM then adapts to the slower in your laptop.
Ram is sold to the dealer at the kilo price / daily price. Almost like gasoline.
Schuae on the manufacturer side of your board, because what is supported.
With 40 € you should actually get away on Ebay. Best buy from the dealer and specify your board. They only send what really fits. They do not feel like complaining.
