Dear good question forum, for my many paperwork, I'm looking for a completely noiseless (no fan, no whirring hard disk) notebook. I suppose, the superflat small SSD notebooks (13 or 14 inches) such. HP Pavilion or Apple MacAirBook are in what I presumably need.
But are they really noiseless? Even after one hour typing texts - no hum, humming, really nothing?
Many paperwork
Pen and leaf
Otherwise, the sad alternative remains an Intel Atom or Celeron / Pentium. They are so extremely inefficient that many do not need active cooling, but are usually sufficient for typing (even if the presentation is sometimes a bit slower) … It starts at around 170 euro.
Otherwise, the possibility of convertible notebooks, mostly also fanless.
My Thinkpad X200T, at least 10 years old, has been quiet as a mouse since I replaced its HDD with an SSD. From an HP Pavilion I would not expect such a thing, if then an HP Elitebook or at least Probook. Just look at reviews before buying (for example, at notebookcheck.com, where the volume is measured specifically), then you know what you're getting!
So under 15.4 "I would not buy a notebook to work actively.
The smaller displays are just a "mouse cinema".
And pay attention to an anti-reflective or matt display. These glossy displays are not called "shaving mirrors" for nothing.
Especially in changing light conditions is with these glossy displays little to no work.
Yes, you're right, they have to be anti-reflective, currently working mainly on a middle-aged "Thinkpad" with a matte display, which is much more pleasant for the eyes than my travel second device "Sony-Vaio", which reflects easily.
Have a Thinkpad, but unfortunately with HD. Retrofitting is not worthwhile, as keys are already quite "through". I also like new equipment, small, flat and super easy for the "Sun King Style" (he also likes to sit in bed for his correspondence…)
