HP Notebook Warranty?

Today I wanted to order a new notebook directly from the HP website. The battery is guaranteed for 1 year. I also saw that there are various paid offers from HP to extend the warranty of the entire notebook. Unfortunately, I have nowhere to find out how long the standard warranty on an HP notebook is. There was only "2 year limited warranty". What does "restricted" mean here?

Buyers should study the information in it carefully if they want to be prepared to make a claim under the warranty. For example, a limited guarantee can express itself in the fact that an exchange in the event of improper handling or damage caused by the customer itself is excluded. But this is exactly evident from the dealer conditions, which you should then "research".

First of all thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, my question was not answered here. I turned to this question forum only for the reason that after a long internet research I couldn't come up with a clear answer. So her tip on doing research is maybe not quite what I was hoping for.

Not interpreted correctly?

You have to find out from the manufacturer HP, not here.
Nobody will work here to "google" that for you at HP, what exclusions are meant by that.

The answer is: please get active! * At the time, I did that independently at ASUS, without always hoping for OTHERS.
