Upgrade old laptop with new battery + SSD or buy new laptop used?

Jo I have NEN hp compaq 6715s here. Wanted to ask if it makes more sense to buy a new used or to use the current with ner SSD and its new battery. Have only just 50 euro budget, so I would stop if ever buy a used.

I know this is little money but I mean the HP I have grad here runs with linux even quite good only the loading times are long because without ssd and I think ne ssd should even be quite good and bring a value

the thing is always there are laptops you buy new ones are ok after a month they are really slow. Have enough stories of buddies already heard where this was so. I just need to surf and bissl open office and so, who can be synonymous of 2010 because even with that you can then play games from 2003 and so netflix and that's enough for me.
