I wanted to buy the gaming notebook from HP: HP Pavilion 16 a-0300ng
Unfortunately it only has 8 GB of RAM and I would like to upgrade it to 16 GB. As far as I know it has 2 slots with 4 GB of RAM each and I wanted to ask whether it would be possible to upgrade the RAM and what do I have to consider?
1. The ram generation (e.g. DDR 3, DDR4
With you ddr4
2. Ram clocking e.g. 2400Mhz 3200 Mhz
With you 2933 Mhz
3. Correct ram i.e. The size must be correct the ram from the laptop is physically smaller (dimensions are smaller
4. 2 identical 8 GB ram sticks from the same manufacturer
How can I find out which size of Rams I need or physically?

But you have to look again in the laptop if the RAM is not soldered on, just to be on the safe side, have a look on YouTube because there are enough tutorials
Unfortunately I couldn't find any tutorials on YouTube from this laptop model, but on all similar models from HP Gaming Pavilion the rams were not feat soldered
Look for a teardown to the laptop (disambly) and in general what there's to consider with ram
Open the laptop and see if the ram is soldered on
