I have an HP Convertible Windows 10, but I only have an external Apple CD reader. I connected it via USB connection. I can "eject" etc. But it doesn't accept a CD… Is it because the device only works with Apple? Because you can do it with a Mac problemlos
Do you know your way around? If so, then I ask for problem solving and / or clarification 🙂

A little hint:
An additional USB port with its own power supply eliminates the problem. Not the most beautiful solution, but for one or the other Windows tablet with only one USB port and too little power over it you can help yourself so that the drive works.
Unfortunately I could not find out how much power the Appel CD drive needs.
