Hp laptop to the TV (Hdmi) shows blue screen?

A few months ago I had to send my new HP laptop in for repair because the mainboard was defective. This has been announced via blue screens. It also worked for a while. However, the blue screens became more and more frequent until he didn't want to start up at all. It all started when I connected my laptop to my Samsung TV with an HDMI cable. However, it failed completely when I had it on an HP monitor. To make a long story short, I then ordered a new laptop (HP Specter) it had never had problems with blue screens until I connected it to the above-mentioned television (it has often been on my HP monitor) At least I was shown a blue screen on this laptop with the same error code (System_thread…) unfortunately I don't have it completely in my head at the moment.

So can it be that I somehow give unwanted power to my mainboard via the hdmi cable, which causes these problems for me and my mainboard breaks down sooner or later?

HDMI is not intended for power supply. It is unlikely that you shot anything with it.

Does it still work on your monitor?

Yes, I thought so too. However, the TV is already about 8 years old. I thought that maybe the TV itself was inadvertently putting voltage on the HDMI port and this would then be transferred to my PC. He's still walking on the monitor. But the bluescreens already appeared on my first hp when I hung it on the television. Before that it ran wonderfully. I find that kind of funny and even then I had the suspicion that it had something to do with it. I have just tried my new Hp on the television for the first time and a blue screen appears immediately: / … I never had any problems before. It then restarts and runs normally again, but I no longer dare to hang it on the television.

Then you should perhaps think about a new TV or stop connecting the laptop.
