I bought a notebook yesterday. In the Hp assistant I get the instruction to calibrate the battery. According to the instructions, I should charge the laptop to 100% and then leave it on for 3 hours, then unplug it and calibrate it. But unfortunately that didn't work, it still shows that I should calibrate the battery. Is there any other way of doing it? Or did I make a mistake?
(Call yourself Mario:-).
For 2 weeks I'm also the proud owner of a 17 inch notebook inc 1 TB SSD:
I shouldn't be calibrating this.
You can't in this sense either.
But you can simply charge it 24 hours before the first use with all batteries. (Just overnight.)
Then the message goes away.
Have fun with your great Notbok.
My mentor was also allowed to use my new typing…
I didn't say anything. She just said… "That's a very good piece of equipment. I only have a Macbook."
(The first two places for 17 inch notebooks…
1st place HP,
2nd place HP
Then nothing comes for a long time. Eventually an Ibook that only has a one year guarantee.
Charge, completely discharge and recharge.
