HP laptop stuck on start screen?

My HP laptop (Model: 3168NGW) remains on the start or lock screen after restarting the day before. I restarted the laptop several times using the on / off button, but without success. Even pressing the space bar, Windows key and ESC key unfortunately did not lead to anything. Everything is running in the background, however, so I can play Spotify, for example. (The following photo is my situation)

Boot with "F8" key, safe mode / diagnostic mode

Now it works again. I don't know what happened, but thanks for the answer. If I get the situation again, I'll try that.
