I would like to buy a new laptop. I wanted to ask in how far 1.8 ghz afford and if that's enough. Or should I prefer an i5 instead of an i7 then but then have 2.3ghz?
You do not buy a laptop for games.
Do I actually need a laptop for studying and programming… For the Gamen I have a PS4 enough for me from xD
OK. The GHz are pretty much unimportant, important is that the processor is up to date. A 10 year old i7 is worse than a new i3 at half GHz.
What is your budget?
The gigahertz say little about the performance. Especially when comparing different old CPUs that process different numbers of instructions per clock. But what you can say is that lower clock CPUs use less power, which can improve battery life. Without concrete model numbers, however, one can say little, there are a few hundred i5 and i7 CPUs.
I wanted to spend a maximum of 500 euro but a little bit over it is not bad
