AMD Athlon ™ Silver 3050U 2.3 GHz (up to 3.2 GHz)

What does up to 3.2 Ghz mean?

AMD Athlon ™ Silver 3050U 2.3 GHz (up to 3.2 GHz)
35.56 cm (14 ") Full HD Acer ComfyView ™ IPS display with LED backlight (1920 x 1080)
8 GB DDR4 RAM memory
Hard drive: 128 GB SSD

Can you play small games like league of legends with the laptop?

These are the requirements of the game: 3 GHz processor (support of SSE2 instruction sets or higher)
2 GB RAM.
12 GB of available space.
Graphics card compatible with shader version 2.0b.
Screen resolution up to 1,920x1,200.
DirectX v9.0c or higher support.
Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10.

I think that should work, yes. Ghz means gigahertz

Today's CPUs have a base clock (in your case 2.3GHz) with which they can clock under full load in any case, as long as the heat dissipation is sufficiently dimensioned.

The higher clock is the boost clock, which the CPU can only achieve under special conditions. E.g. If only a few cores are allowed to be fully loaded, the remaining cores are then switched off or are in IDLE and the temperature of the CPU must not exceed a certain limit value. Then the boost clock comes into play and accelerates the computing power of programs that only use a few threads / cores.

This is a kind of automatic overclocking while observing various parameters.

And yes, I think the game mentioned should run fine.

Thanks, I liked it so much and for playing other games I have Ps5, but League of Legends is only available for PC and thought if a new work laptop, then at least the one / small games should work.
