I recently ordered a laptop and it arrived today.
Already the start was weird, fully charged, I press the Start button, and the system tries to boot several times until it worked.
Then it starts with that soft crunching and whining, which probably comes from the hard drive.
Is this normal, or should I return the laptop? Installed are a 250GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD.
Crackling and Fiepen → CD or DVD is no longer in the drive?
The ssd does not make any noise. But I would let go back a new laptop crackles and fiept.
Thank you but none is built, it is difficult to describe, it is just a soft crunch, as if an open mineral water bottle is around.
Not that a fan has a bearing damage.
As soon as the computer has started up, the accesses to the hard disk should hardly exist anymore → are you still hearing it?
Yes almost throughout
Could be a broken fan. But does not have to. Can you not use someone from your circle of friends or acquaintances with sound (!) Hardware knowledge?
Yes, let's see, thanks anyway.
