Hello people in my laptop there's an intel core i5 2520m now I wonder if windows 10 or windows 7 would run better, what do you think?
On the second generation of the Core i5 processors you can run Windows 10 as well as Windows 7 or 8.1 if:
you use at least 8 GB of RAM, less RAM makes the computer slow under Windows 10
you definitely use an SSD instead of an HDD, because these slow HDDs make Windows 10 boringly slow. And it should ideally be at least 256 GB, with 128 GB you will soon have space problems
you have a graphics card that is supported by Windows 10, there are models where this does not work.
I would recommend Windows 10 on this machine.
Yes ok I also have 8 GB of RAM on the laptop, I just have the feeling that the processor runs better on Windows 7 because Windows 7 draws less power and I don't know whether 2 cores and 4 threads are sufficient for Windows 10.
