When should you buy a new laptop, based on which features can you be sure that you need a new laptop?
The old device is defective or does not offer enough performance even after formatting and reinstalling.
However, I usually buy a new one when I feel like it.
When the old one no longer meets your requirements. Or is defective, etc.
When you can't even get the old one to run with a light version of Linux.
My old one was 15 years old. HD display, I gave it a current SSD.
It was enough for the network. 17 inch monitor.
Unfortunately the CPU fan has given up its ghost.
Now a HP for 800 Eur, 1TB SD, 16GB ram. Really funny thing.
The old one has always thrived true to me.
