I hope you can give me an answer: Yesterday suddenly the CPU fan of my laptop got stuck with a loud crack (HP-Compaq) and never turned; the laptop was still working.
So that it doesn't overheat, I switched it off and tried to restart.
What then happened was as follows: The laptop wanted to start up, the fan also turned briefly and immediately switched off again and the on button on the laptop looked 2 or 3 times.
After pressing 5, 6, 7 times it has started up again and now it runs again without problems.
Have never had anything like this on the tow top and wanted to ask you if anyone can explain it?
Something has fallen into the fan and blocked it. That is gone now.
Perhaps the fan is dirty and therefore can't rotate properly
Okay, it's possible, but I wonder how that could have happened?
By what falls in…
I screwed on the laptop afterwards and the fan was clean.
It's clear to me, but how do things fall from below?
Not at all. From above.
Has something to do with this strange "earth attraction".
