Music is very quiet at Magix Music Maker why is it?

So i have to record covers for youtube, sing with real homestudio at home and music comes as a playback in front of laptop or karaoke just voice and vocals hear well but the music itself not so i have to tune that where because i also just turned it all out loud nothing changes but still quietly please unfortunately can you help me?

Do you have an interface?

Did you install the ASIOforall driver?

Which driver do you use (installed by Magix)?

Did you insert the music as an audio file into your project?

Does one hear it when recording not or when playing?
