Music software, just what?

I'm now producing Beats ect for some time. Turn. I used the free Magix Music Maker software on my laptop so far. Now that I want to go one step further, I want to buy software that has more plug-ins ect. Contain. At first I thought about not buying the Magix program because I have been working with it for some time. But I've heard very often that FL Studio offers more editing than Magix (if it's true) and now I don't know whether I should get Magix or Fl Studio or maybe another program?!

I do not want to spend 2000 euro as for the Pro Tools program, it should be a good 200 euro and many possibilities.

When I'm at it, I also plan to buy a second computer or laptop. It should be purely for music editing and for programs like Adobe After Effect ect. This is because my laptop always has a hard time with these programs.

Does it make sense to get an office computer?!

FL Studio or Ableton

In my view, FL Studio is the easiest to learn. + Has the most documentation (YT videos, tutorials, subreddits) on the Internet.

I have been producing with fl Studio for some time. I can really recommend it! However, you have to consider that you only get the "normal" Producer Edition for 200 euro. That means you have to buy plugins, sample packs etc. There are also some good ones for free and you can use some of the standard plugins as well. Unfortunately, the right good plugins and sample packs are quite expensive. I still think that Fl Studio is the simplest and most sensible solution.

For Pc: If you mainly produce at home, you can easily use an Office Pc. Here I would pay attention to the RAM and processor, otherwise the program will slow down from track to track (the bigger the work file will be) and start to jerk. Laptop is of course also possible. It's more a matter of taste.

Hope i could help you something Lg.

FL Studio is relatively versatile and fairly easy to extend with VSTs. I also had no problems inserting all MIDI hardware.

Thank you, something is a bit understated, helped me very well and I know what I will do next 🙏🏻

I use LMMS http://www.lmms.io/ which is the most extensive free DAW there's. Available for Windows, Mac and Linux. It is compatible with the following standards:

ZynAddSubFX
SoundFont2
VST (i)
LADSPA
GUS Patches (PatMan)
MIDI
FLP (Fruityloops Project) files

Here is the most extensive free MIDI sound font that can also be used in LMMS: https://github.com/...3%20GM.sf2

As a Windows user you should also install ASIO4ALL: http://www.asio4all.org/
