My probem: I own Magix Movie Edit Pro plus in the 2021 version. An external monitor is attached to my notebook so that I have outsourced the preview window to it. But when I started the program today, the preview image popped up on my main monitor and covered all the other Magix windows. I can no longer access the timeline or the effects. Does anyone know a solution for this?
This is probably due to your monitor setting.
You need an extended monitor / desktop for this, only then can you distribute the windows accordingly.
Yes, I did, it still worked without any problems until yesterday. Normally in Windows you can grab a window at the top and move it. That doesn't work with the preview monitor. Could it be that this is a bug?

Try first: "Reset window arrangement"
If that doesn't help:
Click on the small rectangle in the upper right corner of the full screen. Then you are in window mode. In window mode you can move any window and change its size as you like.
