My Surface Laptop 3 suddenly does the following:
If I shut down the laptop properly and completely and then open it again later, it starts up.
This was not the case in the past.
I checked energy options. It should only open up from the energy saving mode, wake up.
Quick start is also deactivated.
The BIOS is very limited. No possibility of change here either.
Anyone have an idea how to turn it off?
Sometimes I just want to see if I have the laptop off and then it starts up. It's frustrating!
With the standard setting, the PC does not start automatically when you open it, unless the manufacturer has linked it differently.
Unfolding normally only means "waking up from energy saving mode". You can only wake a desktop PC by pressing a key on the keyboard when it is in energy-saving mode (or hibernation) and not when it is switched off.
Therefore, please check whether the computer really shuts down completely or whether a (hybrid or normal) hibernation is activated.
