I would like to digitize my video cassettes and am looking for good software. I have an adapter for the Scat connection of the video recorder in hdmi and USB that I connect to my laptop.
Does anyone have a tip?
So I have a "tip": If there are only 1-2 video cassettes, I would hire a service provider! You send in the tapes and get them back in the best possible quality on DVD / Blue-Ray together with the cassette. You also save a lot of time and effort. Would that be an option? O_O
There are 4 with 240 minutes, that will be quite expensive… That's why I wanted to do it myself.
Well… Let's be around 20 euro per cassette. But save yourself a lot of time! You'd have to dub + edit + save (rendering) for 16 hours… So if you start today… You won't be finished by Christmas! : - /
