Hello @ all, before I perish here before boredom, I wanted to devote myself once again my film editing. But now I had to realize that I'm out for a long time.

So, it's about, I have the brother in law a Philips VKR6647 Cam whose films I want to digitize or should.

I only have a laptop and do not want to get me a PC Tower, where I have to use Firewire or ne cut card buy. I have never owned a recorder VHS to DVD. Now I have something from an external video recording card "Dazzle DVD-Recorder HD" of someone can help me with some advice on my question? Editing program would be there. Then I researched and found Oddity USB Video Grabber… Could that be fun? An answer would be really nice.

Of course "could funz".

A USB video grabber is the worst possible hardware solution, which you will soon notice in the video quality.

With the Dazzle DVD Recorder HD it is "something" better to digitize.

Thanks, but the cam is already so old… Would that still be something?

Main thing it works, then age does not matter, right?
