At our vocational school, he is allowed to use tablet and laptop in the classroom. Tomorrow is only my second day there.
I'm not sure if I should really go there with a tablet or laptop. Because if all the other students were working with paper and pen, I would feel weird to be the only one sitting there with a laptop or IPad + Pen. What would you do? On the one hand, I want to work paperless, but on the other hand, I do not want to be labeled as something because I use IPad + Pen as the only one or something.
How was it with you at the vocational school?
Did most people work with paper and pen or technology (laptop, tablet)?
Take both with, a tablet is not so huge…
Take both with you and then decide in the classroom.
I'm at a vocational school, but am doing my high school diploma there.
I have Galaxy Tab S4 with S-Pen and I'm the only one in the class.
Most teachers tolerate the use of tablet. Mainly is mainly only my digital college block, because the issued slip are rarely available digitally and the manual scanning by camera in the long term annoying.
For markings in texts or to fill in worksheets, I always have normal pens with me.
For a subject where the teacher is strictly against technology, I also have my college paper block with me.
Since I'm at a technical school, we also have technical instruction. For the use of PCs, others have a laptop or MacBook with them. This also applies to research of lectures or the like.
It will probably not be completely paperless. You can restrict the paper use however. It always depends on the school and the teachers.
