Assembling a laptop only makes limited sense. The purpose is to get all parts together in a small space and still ensure good ventilation. Therefore, the inner parts of all housings are perfectly coordinated, in contrast to tower PCs where you can theoretically build what you want.
So: Of course you can assemble a laptop yourself, but you first have to get an empty housing. Probably cannibalizing an old laptop. And then all the parts you buy must have the perfect dimensions so that they fit into the housing.
I don't think you can buy this case, but how about buying a notebook / laptop and cannibalizing it so that you can get it? Broken devices are often given away on eBay and because you don't need to care about the interior anyway… Okay, maybe the battery… I think your idea is good and wish you a lot of success!

There are no notebook cases like PC cases. Most notebooks have special parts, not standard components.
Sure you can try it is also a great task. I just said that if you seriously want to assemble a laptop for yourself (so for everyday use) it will be very difficult and take time.
