Laptop screen frozen / hung up - what to do?

As described in the title, my laptop hung up about 20 minutes ago.

Now, since I didn't see any other solution, I switched it off with the "power button"…

When I switched it on 5 minutes later, I came back to exactly the same situation, i.e. To where it had hung.

What else can I do now?

No

Clean or start in safe mode!

Na

Take out the battery, wait, plug it in again.

No

If that goes with him without much screwing!

Bl

Think it is permanently installed 😵

I have no idea about it.

Na

I agree. If you can do that without screwing too much!

Na

Geez. Then a new idea, please.

po

Even if, I think he would rather take half an hour of screwdriving instead of always getting a freeze. And that takes 5 minutes and he won't die from it.

No

Well, it goes faster when the battery is empty. It would go faster if he just left it on and things just went out!

po

So you would rather wait a maximum of 1 and a half hours (depending on the laptop) instead of removing the screws in 5 minutes and doing something that could help?

No

If I had no idea yes. If it's a new Surface or something like that, I wouldn't even do that.

po

OK

Bl

But I can't do anything right now.

So I can neither clean it, nor do I get into safe mode…

No

Just leave it on until the battery is empty and then try again

Bl

Ok, I'll try it.
