I have the problem with Windows 10 that I can't add an account to the settings under "E-Mail & Accounts". I'm logged into my laptop with a local account, but want to log in to my Microsoft account. It doesn't matter if I select Outlook, Google, Office 360 etc., that I would not have a connection and should try again later. However, I have Wi-Fi and the message keeps coming back when I try.
Wi-Fi and an internet connection are two different things.
Can you log into Microsoft's account page?
Yes, I can and I generally get on the Internet
Windows does that.
I had that for a time too. When I clicked these messages away, after a while it became comfortable to interact.
I have a LOCAL account by the way.
