Use cables from America without an adapter?

Moin, I bought a laptop in America and they have different connections, now I've lost my adapter… Would it be possible to use the cable without an adapter?

No, it doesn't fit into German sockets. You can get adapters everywhere, e.g. In electronics stores.

I could now answer… Cut off the plug and put a Schuko plug on it for 1.95 from the hardware store… But I won't give that answer 😁
