Macbooks are technically the worst thing for the price. So please don't advise anyone to buy a Mac if you are unfamiliar with it.

The M1 processors are so "superior" because they are based on a different architecture than Intel / AMD and are therefore (can) be demanded significantly less. You can practically not compare with each other. An M1 processor would not work at all in a Windows PC because (now simply explained) it can't cope with the complexity or understand the "language" of Windows.

You got it well. You only buy a Macbook because of the (professional) software that is specially tailored to Macbooks and is therefore usually better than programs for Windows. But if you are looking for an all-rounder PC with which you can do a lot of things for a good price and also gamble, a Windows laptop is better.
A Mac is also recommended to people who have everything from Apple and now want an office laptop that works well with their devices. But if you want to gamble with your laptop (which I wouldn't want to do with a laptop, but with a pc or console) then definitely Windows
