Practical alternative to the PC?

I gamble on the couch. I don't have the space for a PC setup. And I don't see paying twice as much for a laptop for the same performance. All in one systems are arguably even worse. No consoles, please.

ju

Take a PC with a wireless mouse / keyboard. I often do this and that is one of the most relaxed things.

In addition, it has such a low latency today that you actually don't notice any difference.

Te

You can get a cordless keyboard and mouse, then you just have to put the PC somewhere and connect it to the television. Or a gaming notebook, which is acceptable from 600-700 euro

pe

Either a console.

Or simply connect a pc to the television and gamble on the wireless keyboard or controller.

br

Well you can also connect your PC to the television and play with the wireless mouse and keyboard. You can then put it all away when you're done.

br

For 600-700 EUR a laptop is called a gaming laptop… At that price you don't even get a gaming stand PC

You can get sufficient stand systems for just 500 euro, you just have to assemble it yourself

Ju

How about a mini ITX PC?

Really compact housing.

You can put something like that in front of the TV or on a shelf if the compartments are big enough.

It can be even more compact, but then it gets really expensive.

Thank you. So I decided in favor of a stand-alone PC purely in terms of price-performance. However, I still need a solution for the muas and keyboard. Something like a laptop desk or a practical combination of dining table and gaming table. Height adjustable e.g.

br

Sufficient for what? It also depends on the demands. You can then play everything with the PC - but not with the best graphics resolution.

Te

Do you need the highest resolutions? 60 FPS at 1080p is easily possible on the highest settings for most games

br

Just - on the highest settings. But they don't work if the PC is too weak. As I said, it depends on the games you play and how much value you e.g. Lays on lighting effects / shadows / reflections etc. They like to eat resources

Ju

Even if you build in this case, it is a stand PC. Just a very compact one.

I don't know how you imagine that with the table. If you want to play properly with the mouse and keyboard, you can't really get around an office or gaming chair. Only the controller actually works properly on the sofa.
