Monitor keeps showing Check signal cable?

As the heading says, my second monitor only shows check signal cables.

It's just that the screen works on other Pcs, laptops etc, so it only works for me as soon as I open a program (Firefox, Chrome Steam Spotify etc) or pull it over it turns black and it says check the signal cable, my drivers are up to date and I've already tried different ports.
